Donkey is a 7 year old Mix-Breed in Springdale, PA, who needs $1,000 for Heartworm Disease.

Donkey is a sweet older guy who was found tied up outside of a Dollar General. We believe he was dumped by his previous owners because he is a perfectly trained and extremely sweet dog. Donkey was taken to the local shelter where no one claimed him. Because of his age and medical condition, Paws Across Pittsburgh stepped in to bring this sweet guy to Pittsburgh to get him into a foster home.

Donkey was found to have Lyme disease which is very painful for his joints. He is being treated with antibiotics. He was also found to be heartworm positive. The treatment for heartworm is lengthy and expensive. He must undergo injections

Donkey is a sweet boy who absolutely loves children. He will take all the hugs you will give! He also loves his kitty foster siblings. He loves to talk and play with his foster dog brothers too. He's just the best dog who will make someone very happy when he goes to his forever home!
