Doobie Lynn James is a 7-year-old Poodle Mix in Aurora, CO, who needs $2,000 for TPLO, pancreatitis, and autoimmune disorder.

Shortly after my father passed of agent orange leukemia from Vietnam, I found Doobie. He was malnutrition at a Pet Store. Doobie hardly had any hair and weighed 4 pounds at 12 weeks. He has been a blessing to not only me but my mother and children. He loves the Zoomies, hikes, road trips and cuddles. He came when my heart hurt so much. I made him a promise I would do anything to save him.

I have 3 rescue dogs besides Doobie. He is a fantastic brother to Daisy, Dixie and Dot. Everyone loves Doobie. He is a lover and entertainer. He makes everyone laugh. Especially when the mailman comes. He runs in circles and jumps on his hind legs. He plays with Daisy the most. They love to wrestle.

I am working 3 jobs and currently have my car for sale. Doobie is my everything. I have maxed out Care credit 10k & wiped my savings out. Since his last ER visit this week, he is becoming a bit more perky. We still have a long road, as he is still unable to walk from 2xTPLO.

Thanksgiving 2020, Doobie got sick quick. I took him to the ER twice & vet twice. The 2nd visit to the vet, she recommended all his teeth removed as she thought his periodontal disease was the culprit. Unfortunately, it is not. He has had an MRI, 2x TPLO, pancreatitis & a plethora of meds since Thanksgiving. He recently was in the ER with low sodium. He still has a lot life and is a fighter.

Doobie loves the ZOOOOOOMIES! He loves or loved to jump on everything and he is such an entertainer. He also is very tender and will cuddle immediately when someone feels blue. He loves friends... People and other animals. Doobie loves to be talked to. I literally can hold a conversation with him. He is my buddy. I love him so much.
