Dora "The Explorer" is a 10 year old Mix-Breed in Mohnton, PA, who needs $2,000 for Remove Masses and Cysts.

Dora "The Explorer" is 1 of 2 sisters we rescued when they were 12 weeks old. The babies and mom were found under an 18 wheeler trailer in Virginia. We adopted both her and her teenie sister and it was the HAPPIEST decision we made! She continually went from 1 spot, to another spot, then another checking everything out, hence her name...soooo cute!

Dora had 2 lumps on her, 1 on her side and another at the base of her tail. She is in dire need of surgery and Dr Corey at DiLella Vet Clinic recommended surgery it so she can remove the masses and relieve the discomfort she has when she tries to lay down. The one at her tail has burst open so we're looking to get the surgery as soon as we raise the funds.

Dora has a sister Chloe who was diagnosed with Addisons & Epilepsy when she was 2 so it's been a blessing to see how much love they have for each other. It's so cute when they lay together in their "Cadillac" bed together....yes they do fit even being 50 lbs a piece, they LOVE IT! They're inseparable. When Chloe was sick, Dora would lay aside of her at the bed comforting her as a good sister does

I was laid off during covid, took early retirement to have some money coming in, am on limited Income with SocSec, it's been very hard to not only afford the meds for Chloe, but have been fortunate to have help from food banks. She is such a loving dog, huge heart!
