Dora is a 7-year-old Maltipoo in Warren, RI, who needs $2,000 for Surgery to Remove Tumor and Right Hind Leg.

Dora was a gift given to me by my daughter. Dora was born October 4, 2016. I got to pick her out from the liter. She was the perfect pick for me and her Pomeranian brother Toby who also helped with picking her out of liter.

Dora is the watch dog of our family. She enjoys sitting on the stairs in the house. She also loves to lay down on my deck and watch the people walking their dogs in our neighborhood. She enjoy eating these treats called good n fun. She understands that she gets only 2 at a time. She will come back for 2nd treat when she is done. We can never run out of these treats that Dora enjoys eating.

Dora is my baby. I have been taking care of her since she was 8 weeks old. When Dora was 3 months old she got out the gate and was gone for 3 days. She was lost in the woods. She found her way back to me just before a snowstorm was about to hit. She deserves to live even if she has to live with 3 legs. She is only 7 years old and she doesn't have any other health issues that I am aware of.

Dora was diagnosed with an aggressive cancerous tumor on her right hind leg. This came about very suddenly. July 20th Dora got groomed no lump found. July 28 I saw the lump. Dora was seen at vet on August 2nd, diagnoses aggressive cancerous tumor. I was advised to see a oncologist.

The specialist scheduled surgery to remove lump and hind leg. 8/22/23. I am retired living on social security. I am 70 years old. The cost is $5000. I need financial help
