About this campaign

Douglas came into our lives the day we moved into our apartment. We had our front door propped open to carry in boxes to unpack when he just ran right inside and helped himself. He was a stray we rescued, along with his sister Zoey. My fiance cannot work due to medical issues until surgery. Financial hardship is putting it lightly, 1 income, all Bills, a 13 yr old too. Please save our fur baby!

They are both very sweet and loving cats who chose us to be their home and family. They are our children and we love them so much. Douglas sleeps next to my head on my pillow every night, and Zoey sleeps next to my fiance. We weren't looking for pets and certainly didn't plan them. They chose us to be their humans, family, and fur ever home.

Yes! DOUGLAS IS SO ACTIVE NORMALLY! He is playful with us and his sister too. It is completely impossible to need or use a clip board in his presence. That has become his become his favorite toy lol. He also loves to steal pieces of paper you're working on (like our child's homework!) He has a huge personality and is the life of the house.

36 hours ago Douglas began vomiting bad. In between he has held down very little water and NO FOOD at all. He still tries to be active and play but you can see the life draining from him quickly. We have tried meat flavored baby foods, water, milk, ect. However he is getting worse fast and we feel helpless trying to save our baby.

My fiance is unable to work due to emergency medical issues resulting in surgery scheduled for next January, almost February. It is only me working and 1 income paying the bills, medical expenses, and no family to turn to.
