Dovey is a 9-year-old Domestic Shorthair Cat in Ephrata, PA, who needs $1,000 for Dental Surgery.

My name is Nicole. I created this campaign to help my mom and her best friend Dovey. She was adopted from Centerville Pet Rescue in Lancaster, Pa. They will be together 10 years next April. Dovey is an indoor cat along with two other cats that are about 8 years younger than her. She tolerates them but doesn't care for them too much. She was named Dove but we call her Dovey, Dovey cat, or Lovey Dovey

I call her catdog because a lot of times she would come if you called her or said, "Where's that kitty?" My mom calls her baby or 'the baby'. Dovey sleeps with mom. She has her own pillow but likes to lay on her hip when mom lays on her side. She loves to snuggle and will lay on or with you. Dovey is a true lap cat. When you say hi to her or talk to her, she meows back. She is a very smart kitty.

Dovey loved to play 'soccer' and fetch with foam balls that look like soccer balls for cats. She also enjoyed chasing the laser and playing with string and other toys. She likes her back scratched and will roll back and forth while meowing. She loves to sit and look outside. She sits so pretty. Everyday my mom would make the bed, scratch Dovey's back and talk to her aka making the bed for the baby

Dovey is in dire need of dental care. She has missing teeth and some that have decay. She has lost half of her body weight over the last few months because of it. We are looking to have the dental care done by Pet Day Surgery in Lebanon, Pa. She might also need other care but we will not know for sure until her appointment. So it could end up costing more than the estimated $500.

My mom is on a fixed income, living check to check with no savings. There is no family or friends that can afford to help. If it wasn't for me coming across Waggle, we wouldn't have any options. She really is the sweetest cat and holds a special place in each of our hearts
