About this campaign

Dozer is a 9month old Great Pyrenees puppy. After noticing he has a very high back and trouble getting up, I took him to the vet knowing he has hip dysplasia and he does. At 9 months hewas diagnosed with severe. His older brother has moderate to severe but doesn't whine in pain or have issues getting up like Dozer. It's hard to see. I got him a twice daily pill from the vet to help with pain.

Dozer lives with me, my daughter and his 3 Great Pyrenees brothers. They are 4, 3 and 3. He's a very protective boy of his family, even at a young age. Just loves everyone.

Dozer loves to laugh and play, protective and loving but mischievous and silly. Loves to pick on his big brothers but give tons of love too. He's a good listener for a Pyrenees which can be very stubborn.

Dozer is on meds for his pain and has to go under Wednesday to get x-rays for his hip dysplasia. The vet said there's a small chance he would have a smaller operation but being severe probably will have full hip replacement on both hips. I will know more on Wednesday. This will cost about 12k they said if he has total hip replacements.

I work very hard to care for my family and pets but one of my Pyrenees has lupus with monthly atopica meds at 430 dollars, one needs a root canal because his pulp is showing from a fractured tooth and another also has dysplasia and while not as severe will progress with time
