About this campaign
I rescued Dr Watson at birth. His mom wouldn't help him out of the amniotic sac and he was struggling to breathe. It was touch and go for the first day or 2 but he finally found the spunk in his personality we now know and love . He has helped me through strokes, PTSD, anxiety and a heart attack. And most recently, Covid-19.
He's always playful, always by my side. He hasn't spent more than an hour at most away from me. He gets all the other animals to play even when they're being grumpy, and even seems to think stuffed animals are his friends. He barks at everyone who walks by, and scratches frantically whenever the possibility of a new friend approaches whining and crying so desperate to meet them.
I suffered 2 strokes over the past 6 months, then covid hit, and being high risk, not currently working, which did not stop me from getting covid either. I'm a full time student and he is my service animal.
He has a foxtail up his nose and due to covid-19 and being high risk, I'm not working and can't afford the remaining 300 to have it removed. I have applied for financing, I've asked friends and family, I've tried loan applications....all I have left is fund raising at this point. I refuse to just give up.
He answers to "Paging Dr. Watson" and anytime I call out "My PUP PUP PUP PUUUUP!" No matter where he is at, if he hears that, he comes barreling into the room slides to a stop and cocks his head to the side as if he's saying "you called me???? IM HEEEERE!!!" he rides ON MY SHOULDERS when we go for a drive, and yips at all his new found friends we drive by
