I am currently single cat parent who was recently wrongfully terminated from my job of three years. There is no
current income coming into my home and I do have other cats. Draco is the youngest and was the runt in his litter but weighs 13lbs currently so he’s my big baby. He was born with a heart murmur, along with his siblings but aside from that he’s been completely healthy and playful.

Draco is very much like myself. He’s shy until he gets to know. He doesn’t quite meow but kind of howls like a dog. I always kid that he’s actually a ware wolf. My youngest sister adopted his brother and sister so we often have play dates and i also have other cats of my own who have taken him in like he’s one of their own. He loves snuggling up with myself or my family but not so much strangers.

Aside from my other cat, Garfield, Draco actually listens like a dog. Well I should say all of my cats do but Draco liked to play fetch. And he doesn’t really purr or meow. He kinda howls like a little puppy/wolf hybrid. He also enjoys being in the shower with me and lets me hold him over my shoulder while the warm water runs over his fur.

Yesterday late evening I noticed droplets of urine and blood on my floor and it appeared that Draco was straining to use the bathroom. The emergency vet I saw put on the discharge paperwork that it was a urethral obstruction and a UTI. I was seen at a veterinary clinic, and it was very traumatic. They wanted to keep him over night to check urination but even if I had the money I wouldn’t have

I was fired from my chef job of three years 07/08/23. It’s been a struggle working to begin with because they didn’t pay enough. Draco means the world to me. I just cannot picture my life without him in it. The doctors have quoted me thousands of dollars for care for Draco.
