Draco is a 4-year-old Terrier Mix in Pompano Beach, FL, who needs $2,000 for Hospitalization, Treatment and Possible Surgery for Pancreatitis and Mass Found on X-ray.

Draco needs urgent and desperate help and may require surgery to remove something he may have ingested. He's being treated for pancreatitis but is still vomiting and pooping blood. Every day the charges go up. I found him on the evening of National Puppy Day. He was hunched over with his head down and couldn't even walk but he wagged his tail at me and put his head on my knee when I went to him.

I was told he will need two weeks of care and meds once he's released so I'll see how he gets along with my dog then. My dog is nine and very nice and calm. Draco seems like he has a will to live and I imagine him as a healthy playful puppy someday. Right now it's hard to imagine it as miserable as he is.

All I know is he wagged his little tail as soon as he saw me and put his head on my knee when I went over to him. I felt like he was asking for help. He wags his tail and tries to look at your face. I imagine he would be a good boy.

I learned the puppy was given as a free gift with purchase from a breeder in Orlando. His name is Draco, which I looked up and it's a type of gun. I'm thinking of changing it to "Bagel" instead. He's at Animal Emergency Clinic of Deerfield Beach being treated by Rodolpho Padilla.

When I went out last weekend, I was not expecting to discover this poor puppy in immediate need. When I brought him to the 24 hour emergency clinic, I was expecting and prepared to pay something, of course, but things keep piling on and I really can't afford it.
