Draco is a 3 year old American Pit Bull Terrier in Tempe, AZ, who needs $2,000 for abdominal ultra sound imaging/ct scan.

We got Draco from a guy we knew a few years back. He was abusing him, trying to make him mean. We couldn’t just leave him with the guy. Luckily he got arrested and asked if we could take him for a few days. We suggested he leave the dog with us permanently as we were more capable at the time to take care of him. The guy wound up leaving him with us.

He is having digestion or abdominal problems. I’m not certain if he managed to ingest something he shouldn’t have; like a spring clip or chicken bone or any number of other things. Or if he is possibly just partially constipated. All I know is he is in distress. We want to take him to an emergency vet. However, we don’t have the funds due to my being laid off.

He’s special because even though he was mistreated; he is still the nicest and sweetest dog you will ever meet. He just wants to be included and be part of the family.

I was laid off last month. My bf, just got hired on the with a temp agency. We’re staying in one of the homeless hotels. We’re trying to get ourselves back on track. I don’t want Draco to suffer because of our shortcomings. It’s not fair to him. He’s too good of a friend.
