Veterinarians explained that the rubber material could absorb stomach fluids, expand, and create a life-threatening intestinal blockage if it wasn't removed immediately.

The veterinary team first attempted to retrieve the object using a minimally invasive procedure, hoping to spare Draco from major surgery. Unfortunately, the procedure was unsuccessful, leaving the team with no choice but to perform emergency abdominal surgery to remove the foreign object and save his life.
