Drake is a 6 month old chocolate lab - we've had him since birth! His mom and dad both live with him. He is named Drake because he's going to be a bird dog.

Drake is my youngest son's dog, however he is loved and snuggled by all 5 in our family, as well as his mom and dad who help keep him happy and fun loving.

Drake loves playing with anything with stuffing, and toys that squeak.. the louder the better!! He also loves laying on top of the couch like a cat, and watching people and traffic go by.

Drake was injured in our yard somehow. He has a harris salter fracture level 2, on his left hind leg. We are seeking treatment at the University of Wisconsin vet school in Madison, as there is no vet local to us that can preform surgery on him and we are hoping to save his leg from amputation.

We are a family of 5, 2 of our children have autoimmune disorders that require 24hr care and medication. We are very limited on funds and have used most of our CareCredit line to pay for his initial vet visit with x-rays.
