About this campaign

Drako was originally supposed to be a gift for my daughters for her 4th birthday but from the moment we brought him home he was both of our dog. He was 8 months when we got him and we could immediately tell he was abused and neglected before becoming part of our family. We have two dogs and they are like brothers. Drako is one of my kids I love my dog very much

Drako loves to sleep in the bed with my kids. Every night when it’s time for bed he goes under their bed until I get in my bed and then he hops right on top of the bed with them. People say pitbull and American bully’s are mean dogs but my dog loves my kids and they love him equally the same. My youngest loves using Drako as a pillow to lay on while she watches coco melon.

Covid has put a strain on my family. I’m on unemployment, I go to school full time and I also have two small children. It would mean the world to me and my kids to have Drako healthy and to get the surgery he needs. I would be devastated if I had to put him down

Drako needs foreign body surgery. He has a blockage from something he ate or something he was chewing on . He started acting different about a week ago he stopped eating and drinking water. He’s not his usual energetic playful self anymore. He just lays under the bed hiding and crying and if he’s not doing that then he’s throwing up . I love my dog like he’s my own, it hurts seeing him this

Drako loves to chew up his toys and bed this is what got us in the position we are in now. He’s always a friendly energetic dog that loves to chew on bones. He loves going to the lake and walking up to the shore to bark and bite at the water as if he wants to catch it in his mouth it’s one of the funniest things I’ve seen him do.
