Drogo is a 8 year old German Shepherd Dog in New Braunfels, TX, who needs $2,000 for MRI.

My baby, Drogo was born on April 27th 2017. My daughter owned his mother and father, and they lived with me at the time. I was there the day he was born and he has been by my side for the past 8 years and 5 months. I have worked from home since he was born and so I have had the wonderful luxury of having him right beside me every single day. If I travel, I usually take him with me.

In February of this year I noticed his right hind leg started to drag a little. My daughter is a Vet Tech so I asked her about it, she said to take him to the vet. I did, they did an ex-ray and did not see any hip displaysia or any kind of arthritis. I was told he would need an MRI to get a proper diagnosis which cost in the area of $2K. Drogo is a very special dog. He loves children and people in general. He is the sweetest, kindest,loving animal that I have ever known. He loves to travel and meet people. He gets along with everybody. We have developed such a bond as he is with me every day, since I work from home. His favorite thing to do is play with his toys. He is so full of love and joy! He is very smart and very charming.

When all this started I had just lost my job and was unable to find work for the last 6 months so I haven't been able to afford the MRI. The vet initially put him on a series of steroids which did absolutely nothing to help the situation. I am hoping and praying for help!
