Dub is a 6 year old Mix-Breed in Pisgah Forest, NC, who needs $800 for Surgical Procedure to Amputate Hind Leg.

Dub has been in my life since day one. Her mama was a stray and Dub was the fluffy one out of the litter. She has lots of attitude, is very smart, and does amazingly well with car rides and appointments. She is rather sick of vet visits at this point, poor girl. Dub stays strictly indoors for safety and because she has an allergic reaction to flea bites. She has perfected her bird call aaack and loveswindowtime

Dub recently had a round cell tumor removed from her hind leg. The biopsy revealed she has cancer from her "abrasive" rabies shot in 2019. margins are not healthy and we have decided amputation is the more humane and affordable option over chemotherapy. Dub's vet is Cedar Ridge Animal Hospital. They are wonderful. They do not use these abrasive vaccines, we believe it was only the one rabies shot.

Dub is very sassy and independent but a sweet cuddle bug. She listens very well and I talk her through every procedure beforehand. She is obsessed with churros and delectables. That is her "ice cream" after every vet appointment. She loves being sung very loudly too. She isn't a fan of being held (unless it's grandpa) but she snuggles me every night to sleep. Her other grandpa grows her wheatgrass

This is an unexpected expense and I am finacially drained from Dub's last surgery. I am saving up now for her lymph node and pre surgery examine on may 21st. We will discuss an amputation date then. I honestly can't imagine not having this sweet spunky girl around. She is young
