Duchess is a 8-year-old Chihuahua in Blythe, CA, who needs $600 for Tumor Removal.

Her name is duchess and she was living next door to me with her former owner, however her owner was found dead. And I was given duchess so now she is my baby. I have had her for going on 3 years now. She likes sleeping on my bed right by me. She likes playing out side or just sitting on my lap. She is a good pet.

She likes to stand on her hind legs a lot. She has to be right by me all the time. She barks at everyone and everything. i think she is in pain and that is why she barks and growls so much. The vet said she needs to have surgery as soon as possible before the tumor spreads. I don't want to put her down.

She doesn't like to by put in a kennel bed. And if I have to leave her she barks a lot. I have known duchess for about 6 years. She belong to the lady next door to me. She was always in the house with her former owner however when I didn't see her for about 2 weeks I called and did a welfare check.

Duchess has a tumer and right at this time has not spread to other parts of her body. I have her set for surgery in August but I don't have the money yet for the surgery. I have $150 put away so far. I don't know what shots or other medical care she was given prior. So I am going to get her the best care I can.

I am disabled due to cerebral palsy so I am on a fixed income. It will save her life to have this surgery. And her vet said it is important I have it done soon
So I won't loose her.
