Hi my name is Duchess Marie Lewis. I'm a13 yr old senior dog. I met my forever fur family when I was 8 weeks old. My fur mom & dad was volunteering at their local Salvation Army and a lady there asked if they would be interested in a dog. My dad asked what kind and as soon as she said a weiner dog he said yes. 3 days later we met and I went home with them. A few days later they got my sister too

Being that we come from a hound family, we love to burrow into a warm banket and the best one to find of course is our fur moms bed or up on the couch on her shoulder. I love playing ball or chasing my sister in the back yard. on occasion I get into trouble and try to chew on something I shouldn't.

When I'm not playing the next best thing to do is sun bath on the living room floor in front of the window where the hot sun comes in during the summer. Then when winter hits you'll find me rolled up on the bathroom floors heater vent. When I'm really comfortable I will roll over on my back and that's when I get the best tummy rubs ever.

Unfortunately when I was 5months old I started to have seizures. My fur mom was terrified, so was I. I had to go see the vet and all kinds of things happened. But with the right meds my life up until a few years ago has been wonderful. A small lump started to grow on my leg, it's a tumor and has grown to the size of plum. Thankfully it is benign.

My fur parents have just 1 income coming in the house and with the cost of my seizure meds already getting my lump removed is a financial problem. This is where I need help and ask for your loving support and help donate whatever you can.
