Duke is a 9-year-old Husky Mastiff Mix in Etobicoke, ON, who needs $2,000 for Dental Surgery.

I adopted Duke less than a year ago, he was abandoned at a burnt down property on a reserve with 2 other dogs. one dog was given to me and one other was given to a friend of mine. he was skinny and afraid when i got him and has come a long way. he was agressive to other dogs and the other dog in my household but i was able to get them to be inseperable. he's come out of his shell a lot.

He loves everyone in the house he's babied by me and loves to hang out with my 86 year old grandfather who sings to him. He regualrly goes on long walks with our other dog.

His best friend is our other dog whos a crazy boxer mix. When they're outside they run and play together. He's super quiet but his specialty is making funny faces or giving me weird looks, even if its just for a peice of food

He needs more testing but from the looks of what fets have told me he has a tooth abcess. that has tuned into a huge lump on his face. The emergency hospital i'll take him to is Veterinary Emergency and Refferal Hospital of west Toronto

I lost my job due to sudden termination and i have no emergencey funds. he means everything to me, seeing him healthy would mean the world to me and i want the rest of his years to happy and stress free
