About this campaign
When I was 10 years old, my grandmother thought that a dog would suit me perfectly because I always kept to myself. Duke and I because very close very fast. He was there when I got my first boyfriend in early middle school who I then got married to a year ago, he then moved with us to our first home, and we then moved again to our current home. He is the best boy one could ask for.
Duke suddenly got GDV (bloat) where a dogs stomach flips and is very life threatening if left for too long. My husband and I were able to catch it right as it begun. We went to VEG in Ashville, North Carolina. They provided the best help for us during the move.
Duke is special because he is himself. due to the fact that I’ve had him since I was just about 10 years old, he knows me and I know him. We grew together, we have done so much together. He absolutely loves carrots, watermelon, and bananas. He also loves the occasional whipped cream of course. He never liked playing fetch or really any “games” but he does love his car rides.
we moved nearly across the country with my big boy because my husband is in the military and he had an unexpected major life saving surgery. Currently we are not financially ready to take that on due to it being so unexpected and expensive. We love him so much.
