Duke is a 1-year-old Belgian malinois in Swannanoa, NC, who needs $1,200 for TPLO.

I have had Duke since he was 8 weeks old he was giving to me by my cousin he's a very loving dog and a joy to my life we have already been through a lot he's had to have is salavorty gland removed a couple of months ago now he has a torn ACL on his back right leg . I have reached out to everyone for some help with this and because he has to have a specialist is very expensive 3500 dollars .

He shares the house with 2 cats and another dog hes definitely a mommas dog we sleep alot on the couch together on the weekends hes very active and gets along well with other animals and people loves to ride but my hands have to be touching him at all times or his head is laying on my shoulder for the type of breed he is hes pretty awesome I really love my dog .

This is a major surgery and very expensive I just dont have this kind of money for emergency he has to be fixed . Without this it will cause major problems it's already been 4 months and his other surgery i had to do now this it very important for this to happen for us both

His vet is Swannanoa Veterinary Dr Woods is the specialist that would be during the surgery for his torn ACL hes on pain meds and has been for about 3 months now till I can hopefully get help . I have called several vets. And even took him for consultations on this surgery just to be told the same thing this is a major surgery and not just anyone can do the surgery

Hes very special to me when I was going through some family problems he came into my life when I needed him the most hes very smart , loving , funny has his on personality he loves his stuffed duck and his balls he sleeps either with his duck in his mouth or his ball and loves to sleep on his back he tries to talk by making grunting noises . Loves to eat all kinds of fruit
