Duke is being treated through VCA Loomis Basin Hospital after a large mass developed on his left chest wall near his rib. A fine-needle aspirate identified a malignant spindle cell tumor with osteosarcoma as the primary concern. Additional diagnostics, including a CT scan and biopsy, have been recommended to determine the exact diagnosis and treatment options.

Duke has the gentlest heart and loves everyone he meets. He greets us each day with a wagging tail and is always by our side. He loves going for walks, playing at the dog parks, and simply being wherever his family is. Even while facing cancer, Duke continues to fill our home with happiness, comfort, and unconditional love. His resilient spirit and sweet nature are unmatchable.
