About this campaign

Durham was a surprise gift to me for my birthday, from my husband, friends and family after I had lost my 15 year old Siamese cat Frost. That loss was one of the hardest things, I didn't think I'd ever have another cuddly cat, but Durham is the sweetest boy that loves sitting in my lap. I've had him for 3 years, and love him so very much.

Durham loves cuddling with me, and watches TV with us. He plays with all of our other pets in our home, there isn't one he doesn't like. He's so easy going. He loves watching the birds from our front window and chatters at them. Anyone that comes to our home will be greeted at the door, he loves on everyone.

Durham has 1 dog friend named Kiba, and 7 other cats that he plays with throughout the day. His cooing is the cutest. During certain times of the day, you'll find him running up and down the hallway with the other cats, playing with his toys, chasing flies. Swatting at the TV when his interest is sparked by whatever is on at the moment. He almost watched the whole movie of Secret life of pets.

Durham has had 2 blockages, once in March and again now in August. He has been in the hospital since Saturday the 13th. He had to have a catheter placed to help unblock him. Unfortunately after 2 attempts of removing the catheter and seeing how he would do urinating on his own, he's not able to. Our only option at this time is for him to have surgery.

In March his medical expenses were $2000. This hospital stay is now at $3800 and another $2500 for the surgery. This time the expenses are more than we can handle alone and we're asking for help. Please help save my boy. We thank you for any amount you are able to donate!
