I adopted Dusty when he was 3 weeks old from our local Animal shelter. He was born in April of 2008 and adopted in May of 2008. He has been my constant companion ever since. Dusty is now 15 years old. He is an absolute joy. He has filled my life with love and laughter every day. He is extremely intelligent and everyone he meets absolutely loves him. There’s not another cat quite like him .

Life has not always been the easiest for me and Dusty brings so much love and comfort to me. He is my safe place. He has the personality of a human toddler. He is very loving to his kitty siblings but he rules the roost ( or at least he thinks he does 😂) He gets jealous if one gets a little too much affection and he reminds me that he’s my number one. he has got the funniest attitude.

I call Dusty my little Houdini. He can open any cabinet or drawer in search for a tasty snack. Dusty rarely leaves my side. wherever i am, he wants to be. When it’s bedtime he will gently place his paw on my cheek or on my hand letting me know. He sleeps with me every night and has to be touching me as we fall asleep. Dusty is definitely my soulmate

in September of this year , Dusty began losing weight and he became very picky about eating. he also was having loose stools and nausea and just wasn’t himself. on September 19th 2023 he was pre diagnosed with IG Lymphoma through Ultrasound and bloodwork by Dr Taylor Sloan . He was referred to Veterinary Specialist of North Texas and his diagnosis was confirmed by oncologist Dr LaRue

Dusty Has High Grade IG Lymphoma. I am in great need of financial assistance so that i can give Dusty the chance he deserves . I am on a fixed Disability income and cannot afford the Chemotherapy treatment that is recommended for Dusty’s survival . Dusty is my everything
