Dusty Needs a Fresh Start — And Your Help to Get There 🐾🧡

Dusty showed up at someone’s home looking for help — and it was clear he had been fending for himself for far too long. This sweet boy is friendly, resilient, and ready for a second chance, but he needs medical care before he can safely move forward.

Dusty has tested FIV positive, which means keeping him healthy and protected is especially important. He’s also not neutered, and he arrived with an abscess on his leg or tail that required immediate treatment. He has already received an injection of antibiotics (Convenia) to help fight the infection, but his care is just beginning.

To give Dusty the fresh start he deserves, Cathy's Cats Corporation is working to provide:

• Neuter surgery

• Core vaccinations

• Microchip for lifelong safety

• Flea treatment

• Deworming

• Follow-up care for his abscess

Despite everything he’s been through, Dusty is sweet and trusting. He chose to walk up to a home and ask for help — and now we want to make sure he never has to struggle outside again.

We are thrilled to share that Dusty has completed his medical care and is doing well!

Thanks to the incredible support of our donors, Dusty received the veterinary treatment he needed, including care for his abscess, neuter surgery, vaccinations, parasite prevention, and the other services necessary to help him begin a healthier, safer life. What started as a plea for help from a tired, injured cat has turned into a story of hope and healing.

When Dusty first appeared at a kind stranger's home, it was clear he had been surviving on his own for far too long. Despite everything he had endured, he remained friendly, trusting, and ready to accept the help being offered. Because of your generosity, we were able to say yes to the care he needed and give him a chance at a brighter future.
