Dutchess is a 10-year-old Pitbull Terrier in Bronx, NY, who needs $2,000 for Cancer Treatment.

My partner and I found Dutchess in. 2013. Someone left her tied to a gate in 90 degree weather. When we took her, our intention was to call the ASPCA but by the time we reached home, we had decided to keep her and named her Dutchess. She immediately stole our hearts and she became a playmate for our male dog Bruno who was happy to have her. We believe Dutchess is our blessing.

Dutchess look is deceiving but she is truly a sweerheart. She's very playful. She's not one to give alot of kisses, but she'll accept them along with rubbing her stoach. She also likes to snuggle.

Unfortunately, her only friend is Bruno, she can be iffy around other dogs. She loves her chew toys, treats, loves to go on walks, run and playing tag with Bruno. She likes to bury her head and roll around in the snow. She'll even fuss with me when she can't get her way. She is so cute when she tilts her head when I'm talking to her. She has a happy dance when I cime home running everwhere

On 1/30 I took her thr ASPCA hospital because she loss some weight and has blood in her stool. The vet there took a xray of her abdomen and seen a mass and told me it was cancer and suggested that I put her down. I then took her to URVETCARE-Upper east side to an oncologist vet J. A. Impellizeri, DVM, DACVIM, MRCVS to get a second opinion to see if it really is cancer.

My finances are limited and on a fixed income. I can't give up on her without definitely knowing if she can be saved. It breaks my heart because she looks to me for help and I don't know what to do. Things would not be the same if she wasn't here.
