Easel is just a tiny 1-pound kitten, but he’s already endured more trauma than any baby should. After suffering a serious predator attack, Easel lost one of his legs. Alone and vulnerable, his chances of survival were slim—but thankfully, help arrived just in time. Easel is now safe under the care of Saving Sage Animal Rescue Foundation.

Despite everything he’s been through, Easel is a fighter. He’s receiving ongoing medical care, comfort, and the gentle support he needs to heal and adjust to life as a tripod kitten. With time, patience, and proper treatment, kittens like Easel can go on to live happy, pain-free lives—but they can’t do it without help.

We’re so happy to share wonderful news about Easel.

After surviving a devastating predator attack and losing one of his legs, this tiny kitten has shown us just how resilient he truly is. Easel underwent two surgeries before he even reached seven months old, allowing veterinarians to go deeper into the wound and ensure proper healing. Because of that care, Easel is now fully healed and living life like a normal, happy kitten.

Today, Easel plays, explores, and wrestles without hesitation. He often plays on his side or while lying down, but that never slows him—he even keeps up with his much larger co-foster kitty, Cuddles, with no issues at all. His confidence, curiosity, and joy are constant reminders of what timely medical care can accomplish.

Easel’s recovery is the direct result of the medical care your support makes possible. His surgeries, anesthesia, medications, post-operative care, and ongoing monitoring came at a significant cost, and his campaign is helping us cover those life-saving expenses. Easel is playful, confident, and full of curiosity. He zooms around, wrestles, explores, and cuddles like any other kitten — adapting effortlessly and showing no fear or hesitation. His resilience continues to amaze everyone who meets him.
