Ebony is a 11-year-old Bombay Cat in Happy Valley, OR, who needs $600 for Dental.

Ebony is a rescue, and came into our lives December 2011. She is a joy, and quite a character. She's a bit shy around strangers, but once she comes our of her shell, she plays like a kitten, and is a complete love bug! She has made me laugh when I'm feeling down, and has been my best friend for 11 years now.

Ebony likes to sit on the back of my office chair and bump her head against mine while I'm working. She's very talky and lets me know when she wants something. I've gotten to a point where I can decipher each meow and know what she's asking for. She knows when it's night-night time, and when I make her bed at night, she jumps right in!

Ebony knows a few words like "bug bug" "din-din' "treat-treat and she has a little perch in the window where she watches the "babies" which could be squirrels, birds or other cats. I can say "are there babies in the window?" and she'll jump up on her perch, look out the window and start twitching her tail.

Ebony is having dental issues, and needs some extractions and a cleaning. Also, lately she's been having some tummy issues, which I'm heading off to the vet right after work today to see if we can get a diagnosis. I'll be going to Southgate Animal Clinic, where she has been seen before. She's needed a dental for awhile now, and I'm trying to figure out how to raise the funds.

Ever since the pandemic, I've been playing "catch-up" with my finances. I have a full-time job but it's barely enough to pay all my monthly expenses. I'm currently 2 months behind in rent and waiting on rental assistance. Ebony is my best friend!
