Edith was rescued by Proverbs12:20 Animal Rescue from a very poor community where there were no local rescues to save her and 18 other puppies.

Sadly, Edith has been diagnosed with hydrocephalus, a congenital disease that causes an excess of cerebrospinal fluid in the skull leading to brain swelling. Without treatment, this condition can cause severe brain damage or even death.

Edith lives in a foster home with experienced caregivers doing everything possible to make her comfortable. Although she sleeps a lot due to hydrocephalus, she still manages to play with her sibling and wag her tail when given attention.

To give this precious pup a chance at a better life, surgery is necessary to drain the fluid.
