We have the happiest update to share about sweet Edna! When Edna first came to us, she had clearly been neglected and was completely exhausted. She needed a safe place to rest, proper care, and most importantly, the chance to finally know what it felt like to be loved and cared for.
Thankfully, those difficult days are now behind her. Edna was given the time and care she needed to recover and begin feeling comfortable again. Seeing her able to relax without having to worry about what comes next has been such a wonderful part of her journey.
And the best news of all — Edna has found her forever home! 🏡❤️
She is now being cared for, kept comfortable, and surrounded by people who will make sure she never has to experience neglect again. After everything this sweet girl has endured, knowing that she finally has a safe place to call her own is exactly the ending we hoped for.
Thank you to everyone who supported Edna, donated toward her care, shared her story, and helped her along the way. Because of you, she was given the opportunity to leave her difficult past behind and start over.

Meet Edna. 💔
This tiny 4-pound Yorkie was found alone on the streets, neglected and exhausted. Now safe with CAMO Rescue, we are learning just how much this little senior girl has endured.
Edna is severely emaciated, likely over 12 years old, suffering from painful grade 4 dental disease that will require multiple extractions, and has several mammary masses that need medical attention. She also has cataracts, making her world even more uncertain and frightening.
Edna is gentle, quiet, and finally resting somewhere safe, even though the world has failed her so badly thus far.
Senior dogs like Edna are so often overlooked, discarded when they need love and care the most. But we believe her life still matters. She deserves comfort, pain relief, full meals, soft blankets, and the dignity of being cherished for however much time she has left.
