Edward is an 8-month-old Beagle/Hound mix in Lansing, MI, who needs $80 for vaccines.

I got Edward October 17, 2018 when he was 7 weeks old. He was so tiny with these huge floppy ears. I held him in my neck the whole hour ride home. He cried for a while but the tighter I held him the more he calmed down. He wouldn't kennel train. I used to take him in the cat carrier. He instantly bonded with me. He would follow me when I got up, cry for me if I left. He eventually learned that if he didn't pee in the bed he could sleep with me. He woke me up every 4 hours. Crying. He was always very cuddly and loved attention. Used to be he was so little if I put him on the floor he couldn't get back up in the bed. That changed quickly. One day he just did it. Jumped straight on the bed. I knew it was over. I tried giving him puppy chow but he just ate my dogs food. So I stopped giving it to him. He would drink and his big floppy ears would be wet from dripping in the water. Or he would eat mashed potatoes and have some on his ears. He had this cute little puppy bark. But he could get seriously LOUD! You can hear him all the way outside downstairs. He got bigger and soon didn't fit the cat carrier anymore. We're always together unless I go to the dr or grocery store. If I get up he gets up. He's my baby. He will come stand on my legs and put his face in mine so I give him kisses. He's the sweetest dog. He is iffy a out new people. He used to just bark up a storm but recently he's started showing his teeth. He still has certain people he will just love all over. And he's always chasing down my cats biting them and holding them down. They let him. He's still not housebroken but getting better. He was fixed in February and got his rabies shot and micro chipped. At that time I had the funds to do all that. I'm on disability and right now I'm barely providing food for everyone. Edward is my ultimate joy. He stresses me out but I would just die without him. I love him like he's my own son. That's what he is to me.
