Meet Eggnog, a sweet Pomeranian who's estimated to be between 4 and 6 years old. He was found wandering the streets all alone. Despite searching the neighborhood, no one came forward to claim him. Eggnog was left to fend for himself, battling an untreated and infected eye injury that had clearly been causing him pain for some time.

When we took Eggnog in, we knew he needed urgent care. After being evaluated, it was determined that his injured eye couldn’t be saved. Eggnog underwent surgery to have his eye removed, and now he’s on the road to recovery. Despite his ordeal, this resilient little pup is proving he’s ready for a fresh start.

Eggnog’s ER visit and surgery totaled $3,327.78—a heavy cost for our rescue, but one we gladly took on to save his life. Now, we’re reaching out to compassionate animal lovers like you to help cover his medical expenses and ensure he has everything he needs to heal and thrive.

Update 2/5/25:
Eggnog has recovered extremely well from his eye removal surgery! Unfortunately, he did test positive for heartworm and he begins treatment tomorrow. He is currently looking for his perfect forever home in the meantime.
