About this campaign

El was likely abandoned. Slowly, she trusted us, seeking comfort as her health deteriorated. On March 4th, we welcomed her into our home, where she's now safe but isolated in our bathroom. Despite past mistreatment evident in her fragile frame and wary reactions, her gratitude shines through in her sweet demeanor.

With three feline companions and a Great Pyrenees showing interest in Eleanor through the door, we're pleasantly surprised by the absence of aggression since she joined us. It's as if they all sense she belongs here. Eleanor reciprocates their interest, and her gentle purrs convey her gratitude for our care, affirming that she's found her forever family with us.

In the few days since Eleanor joined us, we've yet to see much of her playful side, but her constant displays of gratitude are heartwarming. She adores cuddles and brushing, with chin rubs being her favorite. El is quite vocal when she wants something, especially if she feels she hasn't received enough attention. Her expressive nature and affectionate demeanor makes it clear she belongs.

El requires comprehensive medical attention, including blood work, X-rays, and samples for excrement analysis, as well as updated shots and medication. Her condition is concerning, with runny and bloody stool. The right-side bones appear to have healed improperly, suggesting past trauma requiring evaluation. We've decided to take her to Aspen View in Colorado for specialized care and treatment.

My recent health issues led to a significant loss of work hours in the first two months of the year. Our recent rescue in Nov. also required extensive medical care. We're reaching out for assistance to ensure El receives the best possible care, as her health top priority
