A gift for my family after my father passed. Funeral was day before baby Eli (named after dad) was born. He is with my disabled mom during the day and my sister and I are there full time when not at work.

Today Eli has to have surgery on his leg. He is expected to make full recovery. The first emergency vet was $400 to save his life. We didn’t have it but was giving the money from the lady that gave us Eli..now he was transported to Cape small animal clinic in Cape Girardeau. his surgery is scheduled today after she again gave us 800 more so they would proceed. Our balance is 1200 at pickup

He loves water but not a bath. He is so loving and affectionate. He has really helped hold the pieces of my family together. My 3 children are there on weekends and met Eli when he was 3 weeks old and we were able to start getting to know him
