About this campaign

I adopted Elijah from an animal shelter 6 years ago. He was actually sick at the time of adoption, but with proper treatment he was back to his normal self shortly after. Elijah is my one and only fur baby, he is my whole world. He was named at the time of adoption so I decided to keep Elijah for him, suited him really well, but Eli for short.

Eli was recently rushed to the Emergency Vet Hospital, where he underwent oxygen treatment for about 36 hours, lab tests, x-rays, etc. Vet explained to me he had fluid in the lungs due to heart issues, causing his breathing problems. He was given treatment and medications like diuretics to help stabilize him. At discharge, I was told that he required ongoing treatment, medications and follow ups.

My fur baby is actually very timid of other animals, except for ONLY one exception, my mom’s Shihtzu! haha. He is the kindest to friends however. He has never scratched or bitten anyone and LOVES PETS! He is an indoor cat so he loves staring out the window always fascinated by birds and the view. His favorite toy is actually a dill pickle plushie, always playing. He is terrified of thunder!

Because this was an unforeseen event, I was not financially prepared. I work part-time and live alone, so on top of rent & utilities, I’m responsible for the Vet invoice. Even small donations will help in anyway alleviate some of the financial burden I have. I appreciate it
