About this campaign

My husband, Kolton, and I adopted Ella and her brother Loui from our local animal shelter after our beloved cat Kramer passed away from complication with FIV. We have a heart for help cats find a forever home and these two kitties stole our hearts when we saw them up for adoption. We named them Ella Fitzgerald and Loui Armstrong after the famous singers.

Ella is the sweetest cat. She doesn't have much energy due to her medical condition, but she loves to play with shoelaces and my necklace. Every time we pick her up she plays with my necklace. She also LOVES to snuggle and she will hug me close and purr for a long time.

We love Ella because she is such a loving, sweet, and gentle kitten. She always wants to come and snuggle with us and be near us when we are lying in bed or watching a movie on the couch. We don't know what we would do if we didn't have her sweet spirt with us.

Ella is currently being treated at Arkansas Veterinary Emergency Specialists in Little Rock, Arkansas. She is in need of a blood transfusion and due to a shortage of cat blood her brother will be the one donating it. Ella is severely anemic and has FIP, which we have been treating her for. We are currently fighting to save her life and provide her with life giving treatments.

My husband and I adopted these two kitties after our beloved cat died of complications with FIV. We are currently living on one income as my husband is in school. These two kitties mean the world to us as they have helped us heal after the loss of our last beloved kitty.
