Ella is a 12 year old American Pit Bull Terrier in River Pines, CA, who needs $1,200 for Oral Surgery.

We adopted Ella in 2014, she is a rescue. She has been a meaningful and significant cornerstone of our family ever since. She has a large growth in her mouth that may be cancerous. At nearly 13 years old, we want to give her the relief and comfort she deserves for all the love she’s given our family.

Ella, nearly 13, has a large, abnormal growth along her gumline that sticks out from her mouth and causes discomfort. While not an emergency, it’s worsening and may be cancerous. Through the years her vet has been Franklin Ranch Pet Hospital in Elk Grove, CA. It has been there for over a year and doesn’t impact her eating but recently it has worsened. We really want to give her relief from this.

Ella is a rare soul—loving, calm, and deeply connected to each of us. We have five boys, and she has been especially comforting to our youngest, now 15, and his brother, who were victims of a crime in 2017. Her gentle presence has helped carry us through the hardest years. She is a little slower these days but still loves the outdoors and still makes us laugh.

We live on a limited income and can’t afford Ella’s surgery. She’s been there for us through everything, especially our boys. Helping her now would be a way to give her back some of the comfort she’s given us. We want her to have comfort in these latter years.
