Ella is a 6-year-old Chow Chow in San Diego, CA, who needs $2,000 for TPLO.

My name is Tuan and I adopted Ella about 6 years ago as a puppy. She was the runt of the litter and the breeder wanted to put her down soon since she's the last one in the litter that couldn't be sold. So I took her in, took care of her, and raise her in a loving family.

Ella is a very quite and shy dog, often very careful around stranger but will warm up to you really quick if she don't sense any threat. I have my kids at home and Ella been really great with them, she's truly the part of my family.

Ella is not active like other dogs and she does not play with toys. But It's her one of a kind personality that makes her special in her own way. She likes to take walks and sometime have her moments where she burst out in sprint. Ella like to smile a lot when she's happy and it is the most precious thing.

Ella's breed is known for their bad hip and joints as they grow, and it is true. Ella had leg surgery prior to her injury and it was very hard for her. And now she torn her ACL and the vet in VCA recommend surgery to fix it or Ella can't walk normal ever again.

I'm currently serving as US Navy and raising a family of two young kids. Stationed in CA had been really tough for my family financially. But as family, I do not want to see my Ella be in pain for the rest of her life just because I can't afford her much needed surgery.
