We became Ellie"s Foster Family Only three short years ago from yorkie 911 only three short Years ago. She was abandoned by her original owner after six years, we fell in love with her immediately. We were told she had some medical issues that needed to be sorted out before we were able to adopt her. A medical work up with our vet, unfortunately showed an in operable nasal tumor.

Working with Yorkie911, we were able to fund raise enough money to get Ellie radiation treatment, which has left her perfectly fine and in remission for the last three years. Unfortunately, there has been regrowth of the tumor and she is being recommended for more radiation, which they believe can give her more time with her beloved family.

Ellie is very attached to her mom Dana, with obvious abandonment and separation issues after being brought to a shelter after being in her home for six years. She loves to play, eat, and wrestle anyone who is willing for any toy. We are not ready to give up on Ellie yet As she is absolutely physically fine right now except for an eye that is bulging from tumor growth.

Unfortunately, due to a pre-existing condition. We were unable to obtain any insurance when we decided to foster Ellie, so all her medical expenses have been paid by us, with the assistance of Yorkie 911 Upcoming retreatment costing close to $7000 more
