About this campaign

Purrfectly Wonky Rescue received a call we simply couldn’t ignore. A one-year-old blue heeler — just a baby — was rushed to the emergency vet after being hit by a car. She arrived scared, in severe pain, and completely dependent on the people around her to save her life.

Her owner loved her deeply but didn’t have the funds for the life-saving surgery she desperately needs. Faced with an impossible situation, they made the heartbreaking decision to euthanize. That’s when our phone rang. Our veterinarian asked if we could step in. And the truth is… how do you say no to a one-year-old dog who still has her whole life ahead of her? We didn’t hesitate. We said yes.

Right now, she is stable, but her injuries are severe. Her right hind leg is shattered beyond repair, and she will need an amputation to survive — and to live a pain-free, happy life. She’s spending the weekend at the emergency hospital, holding on and waiting for her second chance.

Now we’re asking — truly begging — for your help. Our rescue funds are nearly gone, and this surgery is estimated to cost $1,500–$2,000. We stepped up because she deserves a future, but we cannot do this alone.

Every single dollar matters. Every share matters. Every person who sees this could be the reason she gets to live. Even $1 helps. It all adds up and brings her one step closer to waking up from surgery — pain-free — with a full life ahead of her.

Tripod dogs don’t just survive… they thrive. They run, play, and love just like any other dog. She didn’t deserve what happened to her. But together, we can change how her story ends. If you’ve ever loved a dog… If you believe they deserve a chance… Please help us save her life.
