Ellie is a 12-year-old Siberian Husky in Duluth, GA, who needs $2,000 for TPLO - Tibial Plateau Levelling Osteotomy.

Ellie was adopted from Husky Pack Rescue in 2014! When I first saw her in a post on Facebook her picture spoke to my heart. She was so beautiful and had the sweetest little eyes. Ellie has been the best addition to our family! She is a wonderful companion and my best furry friend and a wonderful sister to her human siblings and kitty sibling too!

Ellie is a part of our family! Whenever it's possible, she goes where ever we go and likes to be with us all of the time. She has such a sweet and easy going disposition and is up for whatever our day entails. She goes to the ball park with us for baseball games, joins us walking for scooter and bicycle rides, and on family vacations. She wasn't a huge fan of the beach but loves the mountains!

Ellie is special for so many reasons, but mainly just because of how much love she has to give. She seeks out affection and pets and loves to snuggle on the couch! She's also very chatty and loves to give you reminders when it is meal time. Ellie's favorite word is 'hungry' and she spins up in the air at the sound of the 'H' word.

A couple of weeks ago Ellie ruptured her cranial cruciate ligament (the equivalent of the human ACL). She will need TPLO surgery to repair it. She is being treated at North Georgia Veterinary Specialists and is scheduled for surgery on Tuesday, March 12.

We are a single income household as I am a stay at home mom with two kids, and this is a very sudden and unexpected expense. Ellie has to have this surgery in order to return to her happy self and have a good quality of life. She still has so many more adventures to go on!
