Ellie is a 6 month old puppy who loves to play outside and relax in the sunshine. She is a mix breed and each day her personality takes on a new skill. We love watching her grow!

Ellie ate something she shouldn't have and it created a blockage in her stomach. She needed emergency surgery to remove the item. She stayed overnight for observation and was able to come home the next day.

Ellie is special to our family. She enjoys going on hikes and cuddling up to watch a movie. She spent many of her first few weeks with us at the baseball field, cheering on her human brothers!

When we adopted Ellie we knew it was a big responsibility for our family, but we were not ready, financially or emotionally, for such a heavy situation. While at the vet with Ellie, I couldn’t bare the thought of telling my boys that we didn’t have the money to save her.
