Elmo is a 3 year old Siamese in Overland Park, KS, who needs $2,000 for Double Bilateral Lower Eyelid Surgery.

My fiance and I adopted our sweet boy in August 2025 (after we said we were going to the shelter to "just look"). He resides with his much older brother, Rocco (16), who was less than enthused about a new friend when we first brought him home. However, Rocco is slowly warming up to Elmo, and Elmo is very slowly learning boundaries with Rocco.

Elmo has entropion of both his lower eyelids, meaning that his eyelids are rolling inwards, causing fur to rub up against his eyes. This is very uncomfortable for him and causes swelling and excessive blood discharge, and also runs the risk of severely damaging his corneas. The only treatment option for entropion is surgery, which will be done out of Keil Veterinary Ophthalmology

Elmo is what we call our "wild child". He loves to play with his rainbow fuzzy stick toy, and almost anything that resembles a ball. Elmo also doesn't mess around about mealtime, if he is hungry, he makes it known by trying to bite your legs and feet anytime you walk by. He likes to play with his older brother, much to his brothers dismay. He is such a loving spirit, adding true light to our home

Elmos older brother, Rocco, had a scare back in September, causing us to have to spend $1,300+ at the emergency vet, and was diagnosed with CHF/HCM, which requires lifelong medication. We have spent over $2,500 for both boys, and cannot afford another $2,000+ surgery.
