Elsa Monet is an 8-year-old Boston Terrier in Thibodaux, LA, who needs $1,000 for chemotherapy.

Candi H. is begging for your help this holiday season.

Her emotional service dog, Elsa, needs chemotherapy. But the treatment is something Candi can't afford. She is a retired medic who is now disabled.

"I worked more than 30 years saving lives and can no longer work due to injury," Candi tells Waggle. "I saved lives but can't save my girl."

Elsa just had a cancerous mast cell tumor removed, and with chemo, her outlook is positive. She needs treatment to zap any remaining cancer in her body.

Candi lives alone, and Elsa is all she has. "She brings joy to my life each day," Candi says. "She listens to my words and feeds from my emotions. She is my everything. Elsa needs help to get well. Please help!"
