Ember is a 5 year old Great Dane in Ashtabula, OH, who needs $2,000 for Ovariohysterectomy.

I ended up finding her through Craigslist. It was just a fluke. One day I just happened to open Craislist and saw an ad for Great Dane puppies local to me. Me and my hubby when to the breeder and found her. She was this wonderful little ball. It was her eyes that drew us to her. A Great Dane with blue eyes. Until that day, I had never heard of such an occurrence. That was 5 and a half years ago.

At first, we didn't know what was going on. She was just fine and then one day, she didn't go poop for 2 days. Then she started to drink too much, wouldn't eat, and kept throwing up. Next, she couldn't get her back legs to work. Then, she started to get better. We thought, mini stroke. She was becoming her old self again. Then, today, we see a red vaginal leak. We know its Pyometra now.

She loves to troll. That is her favorite game out of everything. She use to troll our King Shepard just to get a rise out of her. Now she does it to our puppy. She play with a squeaky hedgehog just outside of his reach. The more he whines, the more she does it. She also loves the snow and hates thunder and fireworks. She is also a lovebug. She loves to snuggle and get pets.

We are disabled. Ember is also my emotional support animal. I was planning on training her to be an actual Service Animal, but covid got in the way of training. Just thinking that I am going to lose her is killing me.
