We purchased our beautiful baby from out of state when she was just about 2 months old. She was supposed to be someone else's but turned out she "picked her person" which was my 12 yr old (at the time)daughter who was experiencing mental health issues. We just moved after being displaced for some time due to COVID are trying to reestablish ourselves which hasn't been easy!

Ember is our sunshine and a huge emotional support for my children (13,7,6,1) she is a gentle giant and loves all. Full of life! Our sunshine on cloudy days! She loves us all but has taken the most to my oldest daughter experiencing mental health issues. Before her injury Ember was always by her side sleeping in her room and comforting her. To have to separate them has been devastating to both!

Ember's love and loyalty is extra special to our family as she comes to us at a critical time. She was supposed to be someone else's and used to travel to firehouse but instead chose her own path to help brighten up a family's life! She even smiles which brings us even more joy and laughter! We have 2 toy poodles that are my children as well and bring us joy but Ember is truly different!

It started off as irritation/discomfort from a collar she wasn't use to. we took it off and waited before putting it back on days later. A few days went on and we would stop her from picking at it when we saw her. One morning she completely shredded overnight created "saw like" motion severely cutting her neck all around. true damage not noticed until she was brought to hospital and shaved down.

Just getting back to work in a wk. Just moved after being displaced for some time. Ember being healthy and rec care she needs would mean the world to us. Especially since more treatment and meds are needed down the line. It is life or death right now for her. PLEASE HELP!
