About this campaign

She was born in a foster home after her mother was rescued from the streets, and I later adopted her through Fur Angels Cat Rescue. Since birth, she has shown signs consistent with a congenital diaphragmatic hernia, a condition in which abdominal organs can move into the chest cavity and often requires surgical repair. She currently lives with me indoors, and is monitored closely.

After bringing her to my veterinarian at Guilford Veterinary Hospital, they performed an X-ray that confirmed the presence of a diaphragmatic hernia. Following that evaluation, I took her to a specialist for further assessment, where the estimated cost for the necessary surgical repair was quoted at $6,000 to $8,000.

She’s an incredibly sweet and spirited kitten, full of energy and affection, and she especially loves playing with her big brother Blaze. Despite her condition, she remains happy, curious, and active, spending her days cuddling, exploring, and enjoying her toys. For now, she’s resting comfortably at home and staying calm until she can undergo her surgery.

I’m struggling financially to afford her life-saving surgery, but I’m doing everything I can to find support. She means the world to me, and having her healthy and pain-free again would be the greatest gift.
