About this campaign

Emery came into our lives as a rescue from Texas after surviving severe abuse and neglect. The trauma she endured left both emotional and physical scars, including the unique appearance of her eyes. Despite everything, she chose to trust us. She is our only pet and the heart of our home. Watching her learn safety, love, and comfort has been the greatest gift.

Emery was diagnosed with severe bilateral hip dysplasia and is in constant pain. Our vet has recommended bilateral FHO surgery to restore her mobility and quality of life. The procedure will be performed through the West Hill Animal Hospital. This is life-changing surgery, not optional, and insurance will not cover it due to it being congenital

Emery is gentle, resilient, and deeply loving. She follows us everywhere and rests her head in our laps as if to say thank you. She loves soft, squeaky toys and quiet cuddles. Despite her painful past, she chooses trust every day. Her goofy, expressive eyes tell her story of survival, and her heart is even bigger.

My parents are divorced, and my mom raises three girls on her own. 3 years ago, we lost my brother to cancer, and she is still paying those bills while keeping food on the table. This surgery would lift an overwhelming burden and give Emery the pain-free life she deserves
