Emi was a gift my husband gave me. We rescued her from shelter, five years ago. She’s a Jack Russell mix. Right from the started clinging to my husband. But over time she started warning up to me. A few years ago she was suffering with collapsed trachea. Which happened twice. Then now she has a uti but hundred’s dollars later she’s still showing signs of it. She and my male dog are best friends!

Emi loves it here! And we love her! I couldn’t imagine my life without her! My granddaughter comes over. She runs to my grand. If other guests come she hides. So it warms my heart to see their bond. My male dog and her are inseparable! Last year I lost my mom, and Emi felt my hurt. And stayed by my side. She’s a bit aggressive at times. But that’s her nature. She’s only playing.

Emi suffers from anxiety. She doesn’t like rain or loud noises at all! She does her little food dance and we all laugh. She’s a big part of our life! She’s my family. And I don’t give up on family!! The doctor says she needs an ultrasound being that the antibiotics that was given three times isn’t working.

My baby has been going to Bronx veterinarian ever since her first check up. A month in a half ago we started seeing her with blood in urine. And she wasn’t making wee wee on her pad. From then we’ve been back & forth to vet. With no answers. But now , even with all the antibiotics it has gotten worse! Blood still in urine. And now she cries to pee!

I cry when she cries! To see her suffer is heartbreaking to us! My husband’s working all his day’s off to get extra money for Emi. I also work. But with bills, rent and life struggles it still doesn’t meet the amount we need.
