After 14 years of neglect, Emily is finally getting the care she deserves at Ramapo-Bergen. This sweet survivor has endured chronic ear infections, arthritis, rotting teeth, and a severely injured tail—all due to the heartbreaking conditions she was rescued from. Due to the severity of "happy tail," which is a tail injury that occurs when a dog wags its tail too hard against a solid object, her tail required amputation. She also has growths that need biopsied and evaluation, along with some liver concerns.

Remarkably, Emily still has the sweetest personality and greets everyone with a smile. She loves tennis balls, enjoys walks, and adores playtime with the staff. She’s great with kids and other dogs and just needs a loving home where she can live out her golden years in comfort.
